Sadly, the resale market is in chaos, and it's likely to stay that way until things change. If you're thinking about buying a 350 AMG, don't. It's a great car with a lot of technology, but its value is dropping as a result of government incentives in the US. It's not the car's fault I believe. It's just the way incentives work.

On the bright side, the car's nice, it's got all the latest tech, and it's a blast to drive. The range is good, and you can get even more out of it with the regen braking. The seats are super comfy, and it's quiet inside. The Mercedes electric stuff is way better than Tesla's, like you'd expect. Sure, Tesla's got better range and speed, but I can't stand their screen and how everything's set up.

350 AMG resale is a bummer it's not the car's fault just the crazy market. Government incentives are messing everything up. But if you're keeping it long term you're still getting a sweet ride. All that tech comfy seats and a quiet drive it's a real nice place to be.
And you're right the Mercedes electric models feel more refined than Tesla's even if Tesla's got the range bragging rights. So enjoy the AMG it's a good car even if the resale value is a bit wonky right now.
