Irritating brake squeaks

I'm hearing a squeaking sound from the brakes when I step on the pedal. It does not happen all the time, but it frequently occurs at low speeds. Should I have it checked?

How long have you had your car? Try disabling the creep feature, it may eliminate the noise. If it still squeaks after that, thoroughly inspect your brake pads; maybe something is stuck in them.
