My mom’s digging the pre entry climate control feature on her EQE, but there’s this kinda weird thing we’ve noticed. The cabin gets all toasty and defrosted; but the side mirrors? Still frozen solid! Anyone else had this happen? Is there some hidden setting we’re not seeing to defrost those mirrors too?

Hmm, looks like there’s an issue with your mirror heaters or the software that controls them, as they aren’t defrosting as expected. Btw have you tried manually turning on the rear window heater to see if that helps get the mirrors cleared up?

My mirrors tend to defrost automatically when I use the pre-entry climate control, but I’ve noticed it seems more effective when the temps aren’t too frosty. Maybe extreme cold affects how well the mirrors defrost. It might be worth experimenting with running the rear defroster simultaneously or double-checking the auto settings.

Yeah, when we turn on the rear window heater, they do defrost. Total glitch, for sure.

Thanks for the tip! The freezing cold could totally be a factor, especially with the crazy temps we’ve been dealing with lately. I’ll double-check the auto settings too, just to make sure I didn’t overlook anything. Appreciate it!
