Greetings from Alaska! I’m not new to Mercedes but am considering my first EV. I currently drive a 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS 53 AMG Edition 1, but my lease is coming to an end, and I’m looking at potential options.

I’m in talks with Mercedes-Benz already about a 2024 EQE AMG and would love to hear from current owners. Since this would be my first EV, there are a lot of unknowns, and I’d really appreciate your insights.

How’s the real-world range?
What’s your charging setup at home? Is it easy to manage?
What are some features or aspects of the car that you absolutely love?
Are there any deal-breakers or things you dislike about the EQE AMG?

I've got a 2023 EQE 53 AMG and I'm pretty happy with it. The 2024 model seems like a significant upgrade with the new motor and NACS charging. That's a huge plus for road trips. For home charging, a Tesla connector is a great choice—it's affordable and compatible with both Tesla and non-Tesla EVs.

While I've owned a Teslas, the EQE honestly offers a different kind of luxury experience. It's solidly built, handles beautifully, and has all the premium features you'd expect. Tesla's software updates are cool, and the Plaid models are undeniably fast, but I wouldn't call the Model S a true luxury car. It's more of a performance machine.
